You've submitted all of your coursework and completed all of your exams - but what happens now? If you're planning on staying in Coventry for a bit longer, you may find yourself with not much to do for a few weeks or months - but don't fear, there's plenty going on! Let us tell you about some upcoming events in Coventry!
Watch the Coventry Half Marathon!
The Coventry Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 28th April, at 9am, starting near The Hub and leaving the city centre, before turning around and ending outside of Coventry Cathedral. Whilst it's too late to apply to for the Half Marathon, spectators are more than welcome to watch from the sidelines and cheer on those who are participating.
You can find out more about the upcoming Half Marathon in and around Coventry on the official website - with access to the route map as well as information such as road closures on the day.
Visit Local and Nearby Tourist Attractions
Coventry is home to a selection of different attractions, such as the Transport Museum and Herbert Art Gallery. These places hold lots of new and different events throughout the year, meaning that if you're yet to go, there's no better time to visit!
You can find out more about these upcoming events at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum by clicking here.
Coventry Pride!
Coventry Pride is an annual event to celebrate those who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Social events take place throughout the year, with the next on the 5th May - however, their main annual event is scheduled to take place on 3rd August in Fargo village. Plans for this year are underway, and you can keep up to date on all developments and updates on their web page.
