🚂 By train
Coventry Railway Station (COV) is around a 10–20 minute walk from the main university campus.
If you’d rather not walk, you can hop in a taxi just outside the station—just ask to be dropped at Coventry University in the city centre. It should only cost around £3.
You can also catch a bus from the station into town. Services 8, 8A, 9, 9A, 85, 585 and X30 run roughly every 10 minutes during the day (and every 30 minutes after 6pm). Ask the driver for ‘Pool Meadow’, this is the city’s main bus station and sits right across from the University on Priory Street. Make sure you’ve got the exact fare ready, as buses don’t give change.
🚗 By bus or coach
Coventry’s main coach and bus station is Pool Meadow, which is just a short walk from the university campus, right across from Priory Street. If you're arriving by National Express or another long-distance coach service, this is where you'll most likely be dropped off.
Once you arrive, it's easy to walk to campus in under 5 minutes. You’ll find plenty of signs pointing you in the right direction, and during busy times like move-in weekend, look out for Student Ambassadors who’ll be on hand to help you find your way.
