This will also be the address for your post, just make sure to add your name and room number.
Please be advised that our office opening hours are 8am – 7pm, Mon-Fri. Protection services are on site on the weekends and throughout the night on weekdays.
Once you have collected your temporary access card, you can go and see your room.
Within the first 2 weeks of settling in, please ensure you have collected your student ID from the Hub. Make sure you return your temporary access card to reception, as failure to do so will result in a charge.
Additionally, please make sure you fill in a detailed Hive report, to reduce the risk of you being charged for any damages in your room at the end of your stay.
P.S. There is a thumb screw on the inside of your bedroom door to lock the door from the inside while you are in there, listen for the beep from the lock to ensure it has locked.

Bin stores can be found on the ground floor of every block. Please ensure you are putting the correct waste in the correct bin.
Please ask reception or call Protection Services (02477 657363) in regard to lost belongings or items.
Fire alarm testing is every Friday. If the alarm sounds for longer than 10 seconds, please evacuate immediately.
Please adhere to your signed community living agreement and keep all communal areas clean. Monthly kitchen cleans from our domestic team will occur.
Heating times are 7am -10am and 4pm - 11pm
Hot water times are 5:30am – 11pm
WE DO NOT allow extra portable heaters in your room or any kind of cooking devices, fridges with freezers or candles (please refer to your Licence to Occupy for a full list of prohibited items). This is a breach of your terms and conditions and is a Health and Safety risk.
Day guests are permitted from 8am until 11pm. Entry into the building is not permitted after 10:30pm.
All day guests must be signed in and out at reception on the sign-in sheet due to fire safety reasons. Additionally, day guests must stay with you while on site and should not be wandering around site alone.
You have to submit an overnight guest form. Forms must be submitted at least 72 hours in advance before your guest’s intended arrival date.
You can only have one overnight guest at a time, and you can have a maximum of 2 nights in a 7-day period.
All guests must be signed in and out on the sign-in sheet at reception.
Bike lockers are available for a £40 deposit, which you will be refunded when you depart. Please see reception for this so that access can be added on to your student ID.
Electric scooters are NOT PERMITTED on site.
Responsibility for the immediate removal of unauthorised vehicles if found on and/or attempting to bring into the property is solely the residents who may in addition face disciplinary action in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Licence to Occupy.
Post can be collected from reception during office hours. Please wait to receive an email from the university regarding your post before heading to the reception.
At Coventry University Sport and Recreation Centre we have a variety of membership options to choose from to suit all lifestyles and our students receive exclusive discount.
We have meeting rooms, study rooms, a TV room, a gaming room and a Multi-Faith room that you can book at reception to use whenever you please.
It is really important to register with a local GP (NHS doctor) when you start University.
To register with us at the Medical Centre conveniently located on the 2nd floor in The Hub, simply fill out our online form.
Register now so we can be there when you need us.

Estates is the maintenance team. Any issues that need fixing, just upload it onto the maintenance page.
You can do this either using the QR code in your room, or through the student portal. They will email you updates of when they will come and fix the problem.
Glide is our Wi-Fi provider here at Godiva Place. If you have any issues, please contact them directly.
Leaflets regarding the Wi-Fi can be collected from Reception.
Please download the Washstation app on your phone in order to use the facilities in our laundry room.
If you have any problems with machines, please contact Washstation directly. All information is provided on the posters in the laundry room.
Now that you are leaving your room, please make sure you take all your belongings with you, and leave your room how you found it when you moved in.
