Moving out of your comfort zone is never easy. However, there are things that can help you feel more at home and make your settling period much nicer!
If you have just moved to Coventry and are looking for some nice Polish places to visit here are some of our suggestions:
- Slovianka Polish & Ukrainian Restaurant
This is the only Polish restaurant in Coventry. It has a wide variety of food : different soups such as Rosol and Solyanka and many mains such as Karkowka and Pork Ribs. A main meal is less than £15, which is quite affordable! They are usually open from 1pm to 9pm.

Even though there are not many Polish restaurants in Coventry, you can find a variety of Polish supermarkets with fresh products. This can be a great way for you to connect with your culture and find some of your favourite snacks.
- Delikatesy Smaczek Ltd
There are many Polish supermarkets in Coventry. This supermarket is right located in the city centre and has a variety of products such as fresh meat, fish and cheeses, alongside a wide selection of household food and drink. They also sell fresh cakes. In this store you can also find some products from Romania and Lithuania. Location: 67-69 Lower Precinct, Coventry CV1 1DS
- Koziolek Polish Grocery StoreThis is a local Polish store, they always have fresh veggies and a great selection of other local products. Location: 29 Humber Rd, Coventry CV3 1AT
- U Soltysa- Polish Shop
In this store you can find a variety of local products and they also cook traditional meals and cheeses.They are quite active on Facebook and post current products and promotions. Location: 124 Clay Ln, Coventry CV2 4LT
- Smakolyk Food PlusIn this supermarket you can also find a wide range of Polish products such as yogurts, snacks, fresh meat, Polish bread and so much more!Location: 179 Cheveral Ave, Coventry CV6 3EN
