We understand that travelling to a new country can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, especially when you have luggage, jet lag, and a whole new city to navigate. That’s why the Coventry University London and CU London Student Accommodation Team is offering a free airport pick-up service for our new international students, in partnership with National Express.

This service will make your arrival smoother, more comfortable, and completely free of charge between 1 September and 3 October 2025.

Which Airports and Routes Are Covered?

For London students, the free service covers travel from:

• London Heathrow Airport to London Victoria Coach Station (central London)

From London Victoria, you can easily continue your journey by train, Underground, or local bus to your accommodation in London

How to Book Your Free Airport Pick-Up

Step 1 – Select Your Pick-Up Location and Date Visit the National Express journey planner and select London Heathrow as your departure point. Choose your arrival date and time between 1 Sep and 3 Oct 2025.

Step 2 – Choose Your Departure Time Leave enough time between your flight’s landing and the coach departure to allow for baggage collection and airport procedures.

Step 3 – Select Your Ticket Type We recommend choosing the Fully Flexible ticket option. This allows you to change your travel time without a fee, as long as it’s before departure.

Step 4 – Continue to ‘Pay with Card’ Although it will display this button, you will not be charged, and you will not need to enter any payment details.

Step 5 – Enter Your Details Add your full name and email address so your e-ticket can be sent directly to your inbox.

Step 6 – Extra Passengers If you have family or friends travelling with you, they will need to book separately at www.nationalexpress.com and pay according to standard travel rates.

Before You Travel – Important Checks

• Book at least two days before your journey to secure your free ticket.
• Check your luggage allowance with National Express before booking.
• Keep your e-ticket handy (printed or on your phone).
• Ensure you have a UK SIM card or Wi-Fi access to contact your Accommodation Team if needed.

On Arrival in London

When you arrive at London Victoria Coach Station, you will be close to Underground and National Rail connections to your accommodation. You can also use TfL Journey Planner to find the quickest route. Find out detailed guidance here

• Extras like additional luggage or reserved seating must be booked separately and paid for online.
