Welcome to Coventry University! I am very excited as a Residence Life Assistant to share some tips to guide you through your journey here. Each year, be it your first year or any subsequent year, is filled with great opportunities and, of course, challenges. This guide shall seek to provide you with practical tips together with personal experiences that will make the most of your time here at Coventry.
1. Understanding the Campus Layout
Getting to know your way around campus: One of the first things you will want to do is familiarize yourself with the campus layout. Coventry University boasts modern facilities and a vibrant atmosphere. The main campus is compact, therefore getting around is relatively easy. To begin with, find out where some of the key buildings are, such as the library, student services, and your lecture halls. The university runs guided tours at the beginning of the term, which can be extremely helpful.
2. Use the Academic Resources
Coventry University is here to support you in your academic pursuits. One great resource is the library, which, of course, has books but also hosts a great deal of online journals, as well as study rooms and computers. Use this service.
