Worked up an appetite? Coventry University has got your cravings covered.
Think food from across the world and British favourites, all within steps of each other. Here are some of our top spots to grab a bite to eat or a cup of coffee on campus.
The Hub food court 🌍
From sandwiches and salads to kumpir and curries, The Hub is home to many delicious food counters serving dishes from across the globe (including lots of plant-based dishes)!
You'll be spoilt for choice here, but can you try it all during your time as a student? Donn't worry, there's plenty of seating too so you're bound to find a nice spot to tuck into a home comfort or try something new.
LEAF at the library 🌱
LEAF is a great spot to refuel during those long study sessions. Expect to find a range of tasty baguettes and sandwiches, snacks and great coffee.
We recommend trying their Fairtrade hot chocolate too!
Did you know? Coventry University is a one star Fairtrade university, which means there is a range of Fairtrade products on campus to support the farmers and communities behind your food and drink.
Fare ☕️
Located in both the Richard Crossman building, Jaguar building and Delia Derbyshire building, Fare is known for it's certified coffee and grab and go food. After a lecture-filled day, why not treat yourself to a cheeky pastry or cake too.
Union Streat Café 🥪
You can find the Union Streat Café in the Alison Gingell building, where you'll be able to choose from a selection of grab-and go sandwiches, hot paninis and, of course, quality coffee. This is a must-try stop off spot if whether you're hungry on the go or need a chill study spot.
Grind 'n' Grain 🥐
If you're looking for delicious and ethical coffee, you've found it. Serving cups of Rainforest Alliance certified coffee and fresh pastries, you can enjoy your delicious food and drink, and feel good about it.
The Edible Garden 🪴
Speaking of sustainability, did you know the university even has its very own edible garden between The Hub and George Elliot buildings?
Open to students, staff and even the local community, you're welcome to harvest the freshly grown fruit and vegetables as they ripen.
No matter your craving, you're sure to find a dish that suits you on campus!
