Getting to campus should be the easy part of your day, which is why there are designated parking areas for all students across Coventry campuses.
On-campus parking for students
The parking facilities are strategically located to make sure every student has easy access to academic buildings, lecture halls and other campus amenities.
Parking costs on campus
Student parking is affordable and flexible, choose between:
- £3 per day in all university car parks
- £2 for up to 4 hours (no return on the same day)
Payment is made through the RingGo app, so make sure you have it downloaded before you arrive.
So whether you're on campus for a full day of study or just dropping in for a morning seminar, you can pick the option that suits you.
Accessible parking on campus
Coventry University provides designated parking spaces for individuals with disabilities, located close to campus buildings and equipped with features to accommodate individuals with mobility challenges.
Parking at student accommodation
All accommodations have limited disabled parking bays which are on a first come, first serve basis. All cars parked here must display a blue badge at all times on site.
Parking must be payed for through the RingGo app.
Visitors and overnight parking
Visitor parking is only available in the Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) and is free with the right permit, arranged by the staff host.
Overnight parking requires prior approval and is only permitted for business purposes.
Sustainable alternatives
- Park & Ride: Memorial Park service costs £2.50 return, with cheaper weekly/monthly passes available.
- Car sharing: Coventry University Carshare (via Liftshare) helps cut costs and reduce congestion.
