1.                  Warwick Row Espresso

This is a great place near the train station to check out if you like a good coffee and a great place to study. Warwick Row Espresso offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that's perfect for grabbing a quick coffee on the go or settling in for a productive study session. Known for its expertly brewed coffee, they also do great smoothies and cakes too. I have also had many good sandwiches there. 

What makes Warwick Row Espresso especially appealing to students is its cozy yet efficient vibe. It’s not too big and not too small, making it the ideal space for solo study sessions, brainstorming with friends, or even a casual meeting with classmates. The café also offers a range of delicious pastries, cakes, and light bites, so you can fuel your study session with something tasty.

2.                  Shortland Coffee Company

This is also right next to Warwick Row and is another great place to enjoy a great coffee. They have a welcoming pink atmosphere with some delicious cakes and treats.

I often walk past and spot a great cookie, muffin or cupcake that I would like to enjoy.

·         Delicious cakes to have as a snack

·         Great range of coffees

·         Wholesome cute environment 

3.                  Bean and Leaf

Right in the city centre is one of the city's most beloved independent coffee shops, and for good reason! Known for its relaxed, cozy atmosphere and high-quality coffee, this café is a haven for students looking to study, meet up with friends, or simply enjoy a well-crafted brew. The coffee here is exceptional.

The interior is inviting, with comfy seating and a warm, laid-back vibe that encourages long study sessions or a leisurely chat with friends. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic espresso, a creamy latte, or something a little more adventurous like a matcha latte. They also have some great sandwiches and cakes too offer too

4.                  Leaf at the Library

This is a great location to distract yourself after a long day of studying at the library. Or if you fancy a quick break and some snacks to refuel throughout the day.

My personal favourite here are the smoothies. With 4 to choose from they offer some great delicious flavours to keep you going through a long study session.

They also offer great cookies to enjoy called wicked cookies, the white chocolate are my favourite.
